Moby joined Peter Hook onstage in Seattle this week as the former Joy Division, New Order bass player’s tour of North America with his band The Light neared its conclusion.

Hook was performing at the city’s Neumos venue, where New Order’s 1981 debut album ‘Movement‘ and the 1983 successor ‘Power, Corruption & Lies‘ were aired in full along with other singles and Joy Division classics (in keeping with the theme of the rest of the tour), and was joined by Moby during an encore of ‘New Dawn Fades‘, ‘Transmission‘ and ‘Ceremony‘. “Moby’s a really nice guy, and we toured with him a long time ago,” he told Rolling Stone.

Peter Hook has closing shows at the Mezzanine venue in San Francisco tonight (September 27th), and the Gothic Theatre in Denver tomorrow, after which a tour around the UK starts in Liverpool on October 24th when the aforementioned New Order LPs will again be played in their entirety.
