The Maccabees‘ Felix White has packaged up a selection of tracks which the band recorded during sessions for their 2012 album ‘Given To The Wild‘ for release under the banner ‘Cosmo‘.
The collection has been unveiled with a video for each track, of which lead ‘Yalla‘ can be viewed below. The likes of Jack Penate, Florence Welch, Jessie Ware and fellow Maccabee Hugo White all guest. It will be available digitally, in London’s Rough Trade East and Brighton’s Resident Music on 10″ vinyl.
Felix White will be back in action soon with The Maccabees after the group confirmed via a Facebook post back in August that they are aiming to have a new full length album out in the first half of next year.
“Playing in spells whilst making the record has served to keep the whole thing going rather than taking any kind of substantial time out, so we are hopeful we will be able to get our fourth album out and with you all some time around the start of next year,” the post began.
