Grizzly Bear‘s superb 2012 album ‘Shields‘ is to get a final hurrah later this year when an expanded version is released.
‘Shields Expanded‘ sees the LP stretched out into a two-disc version, with B-sides, remixes and demos being added to the original tracklist.
In addition, a 12″ vinyl entitled ‘Shields B-Sides‘ will be released on the same day, November 12th, and comprises the same demos and B-sides, as well a download card which will provide mp3s of the remixes.
‘Shields’ was one of Live4ever’s leading essential albums of last year, with our review declaring it, ‘An album that reveals itself slowly and rewards the listener greatly if you allow it to speak of its own accord’.
