Arctic Monkeys have romped to number one on this week’s brand new UK Album Chart with their already Mercury nominated record ‘AM‘.
The Sheffield band place one spot ahead of London Grammar and their own well received debut LP ‘If You Wait‘, with last week’s chart toppers, The 1975, one further place back at #3.
Elsewhere, The Strypes have also enjoyed a strong week of sales with their maiden studio effort ‘Snapshot‘, and The Clash‘s freshly remastered career collection is a new entry at #13.
