Arctic Monkeys have held off strong competition from Kings Of Leon to secure another week at the summit of the UK Record Store Chart.

Despite Kings Of Leon’s latest studio effort ‘Mechanical Bull‘ going straight in at number one on the main rundown yesterday (September 29th), Arctic Monkeys’ ‘AM‘ has proved to be the most popular for another week at Britain’s leading independent music outlets, with Chvrches‘ debut ‘The Bones Of What You Believe‘ another high new entry at #4.

Elsewhere, London Grammar, The Strypes and Manic Street Preachers all hold firm in the Top 10, and the reissue of Nirvana‘s final LP ‘In Utero‘ lands at #8.
