The Manic Street Preachers have today unveiled the official video for the first single to be taken from their new album ‘Rewind The Film‘ – scroll down to have a look.
‘Show Me The Wonder‘ is due out a week prior to its parent album on September 9th and arrives in the wake of the LP’s title-track which was also made public earlier this month.
The band’s eleventh studio album is supported with a tour of UK and Ireland in September, beginning on the 13th at the Newport Centre. The majority of the British shows are preceded by a trip to Ireland on September 20th, while gigs in Belfast, Bristol, London, Manchester and Glasgow are also booked before the month is out.
‘Rewind The Film’ is to be followed early next year by another brand new studio effort which bass player Nicky Wire told NME is set to show off a harsher sound than its immediate predecessor.
“It’s not just chucking something out; it’s really fully formed,” he said. “It’s the next step on from ‘The Holy Bible’ and ‘Journal For Plague Lovers’. It’s quite intense but synthetic as well.”
