Babyshambles have further previewed their approaching third album ‘Sequel To The Prequel‘ with the immediate iTunes release of ‘Farmer’s Daughter‘.
The track can be heard via YouTube below, and arrives in the wake of the first official single ‘Nothing Comes To Nothing‘ – available from August 26th. The album, produced by Stephen Street, is later due to arrive on September 2nd.
The LP is to be released on various formats, including a 2CD special edition which features four extra tracks and a Velvet Underground cover. The vinyl format, meanwhile, will come complete with a poster of the Damian Hurst-designed artwork.
Yesterday, it was reported Babyshambles had been forced to cancel gigs in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth after taking advice from their immigration solicitor.
“The band will be playing exclusively at Splendour In The Grass and will not be touring to other Australian cities on this trip,” a spokesperson for festival organisers Secret Sounds commented.
