Franz Ferdinand have detailed two August shows in London and Glasgow as the promotional duties for their long awaited ‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action‘ album hots up.
The group play London’s Brixton Electric on August 20th and travel north to Glasgow’s QMU venue a day later for the gigs whose tickets will be allocated via a lottery system which fans can enter until midday on Friday July 19th.
The lucky few, selected randomly after the closing date, will then be given further instructions on how to buy tickets which are priced at £25 plus booking fee in London and £22.50 plus booking fee in Glasgow. They are limited to two per person.
This coming Monday (July 22nd) fans in New York will be able to see the band perform songs old and new on the “Live on Letterman” webcast series at the Ed Sullivan Theatre. You can try your luck at winning a pair of free tickets by RSVP’ing now through July 19th at Noon EST. Space is limited.
‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action’ is due to end a long break for Franz Ferdinand since the release of ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand‘ in 2009, and features guest vocals from Roxanne Clifford of Veronica Falls and Peter, Bjorn and John duo Todd Terje and Bjorn Yttling.
