Video: Smashing Pumpkins’ SXSW David Bowie cover emerges

A video of the Smashing Pumpkins covering David Bowie‘s ‘Space Oddity‘ live at the South By Southwest Festival earlier this year has emerged online – check it out below.

Billy Corgan and co. recorded the classic track, which has also been the subject of a high profile cover by the International Space Station commander Chris Hadfield – for a special episode of Guitar Center Sessions which will be broadcast this month.

Meanwhile, Smashing Pumpkins are continuing a long world tour which kicked off in March to support their latest studio effort ‘Oceania‘ and will reach the UK in July. The remaining tour dates are as follows:
