Queens Of The Stone Age, Primal Scream and Jake Bugg are among the first names to confirm for this year’s iTunes Festival.
The month-long run of concerts will eventually take in 60 different acts throughout September, and again takes place at the Roundhouse in London.
Queens Of The Stone Age are booked for September 6th, while Jake Bugg is due up on the 10th. Bobby Gillespie, whose band Primal Scream perform on September 20th, has remarked:
“We’re gonna levitate the Roundhouse, turn it into a flying saucer and blast off.”
Tickets are allocated free of charge to competition winners. In addition, performances from the festival will be made available on demand through iTunes and other Apple devices.
