Primal Scream and Johnny Marr are among the first acts to sign-up for the inaugural Isle Of Man festival, which is to be held later this year.

The event, rather predictably dubbed as a ‘Bestival for those that live in the North’, also has Paloma Faith, Wretch 32, Laura Mvula, Loveable Rogues, Davy Knowles, Toseland and Ebony Day on its bill.

The one-day event has been organised in conjunction with MTV, and will take place on July 6th. A Ministry Of Sound tent, the largest ever for the island, will also be a main feature of the festival.

Tickets are available now, with a special ‘super VIP’ ticket amongst the packages on offer. Those who purchase that ticket will enjoy free food and drinks, and exclusive performances from the artists in a special backstage area on the day.

Live4ever caught up with another of the confirmed bands, Kassidy, at this year’s South By Southwest Festival. Have a read through our exclusive interview here.
