Perry serenaded Mick Jagger during a rendition of ‘Beast Of Burden‘, following in the footsteps of the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Lady GaGa and Christina Aguilera – whom have all performed live with the band since they returned late last year.
Since those first gigs in London, the Stones have faced repeated criticism from some quarters due to a perceived overpricing policy – something which guitarist Keith Richards rejected when speaking to Rolling Stone last week:
“From my point of view, it’s like this: We say we want to put a Stones tour together and people come to us with proposals and these proposals are all basically the same,” he said.
“We actually did push down the prices a little bit. We took the lower offer, in other words. But, it’s the price of the market. I don’t really know.”
