Following their 2013 return to the U.S. this past weekend at Coachella, New Order (sans Peter Hook) have now announced a bunch of North American tour dates.
Starting off on July 19 at the Austin Music Hall and culminating with appearances at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and Montreal’s Osheaga festival in early August the band are scheduled to play to cities they have not visited in many years. Tickets for most dates go on sale later this week.
The band returned to the U.S. last year for their first tour since 2005. The Mancunian synthpop band’s string of dates will also include an open air appearance at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, NYC on July 24th with support act Holy Ghost and will see guitar legend Johnny Marr join them on stage at this week’s Santa Barbara Bowl gig in California.
