Neutral Milk Hotel return with gigs in North America, Asia

Neutral Milk Hotel have officially confirmed they will emerge from a 15-year-long slumber with five live shows across North America and Asia towards the end of 2013.

The band went into hibernation towards the end of 1998, not long after the release of their modern classic second LP ‘In The Aeroplane Over The Sea‘.

2010 saw band leader Jeff Mangum return for some solo commitments, while he also curated a portion of the 2012 edition of All Tomorrow’s Parties. The full band will make their return on October 22nd in Athens, Georgia, with gigs in Asheville, North Carolina, Taipei, Taiwan and Tokyo, Japan also booked.
