The new lead single “My God is int the Sun“, off of QOTSA’s new album ‘Like Clockwork“, had it’s first radio spin on Zane Lowe’s Radio one show.
The new album’s artwork and track listing has also been made available by the band prior to its June 3rd release by Matodor Records. (see youtube video below)
Front man Josh Homme described their sixth record as “an audio documentary of a manic year”. The group’s new material will be featured during this summer’s scheduled tour dates including the UK’s Download Festival over the weekend of June 14 through 16.
Stars galore made guest appearances on the new LP – Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Elton John , Mark Lanegan and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner all played a role in the new material.
