Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park will play host to King of Leon’s only Scottish show this year – the outdoor event is scheduled for August 15. Eminem is the other concert currently announced to be part of the Glasgow Summer Sessions taking place at the Park.

Bassist Jared Followill recently spoke to NME about his bands new album which was confirmed to be out in September. He said:”I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds. It’s like a mix of ‘Youth & Young Manhood‘ and ‘Because Of The Times‘.”

KOL will also headline this summer’s V Festival taking place on the weekend of August 17-18 at Hylands Park, Chlemsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. The band are sharing headline billing with pop diva Beyoncé.
