Everything Everything have debuted the latest single to be taken from their 2013 album ‘Arc‘. Scroll down to watch the video through YouTube.
‘Duet‘ is due for release on March 24th, and has a promo which sees frontman Jonathan Higgs fighting for survival in the wake of a volcanic eruption.
Despite being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, Higgs recently told the BBC he was hoping their new record would move away from the 2010 debut ‘Man Alive‘ when describing it as as ‘weird’ and ‘off-putting’.
Higgs said the dizzying, eclectic nature of their first LP was merely the result of a desire to ‘hide yourself and stop people knowing who you really are’.
Instead, on ‘Arc’, he said they, “Didn’t want people to feel it was off-limits because they don’t have a degree,” adding: “On the last tour, I would be looking at a sea of confused faces, of people trying to sing along. I’d think ‘this song means everything to me, and you don’t even know what I’m on about’.”
