Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson has described The Rolling Stones‘ comeback shows as ‘like going to Disneyland’ and said those who bought tickets for the gigs are ‘rock n roll tourists’.

Robinson was speaking to the London Evening Standard, and remarked: “Bands the size and scale of the Stones – they’re like Disneyland. I felt like the audience at those shows were rock ‘n’ roll tourists. I wish Mick had a little more sincerity and did a little bit less running around.”

The Disneyland of rock are expected to return to the live scene this year as an extension of their 2012 50th anniversary dates. Rolling Stone recently quoted a ‘concert business source’ who claimed the legendary group will perform ‘fewer than 20′ US gigs in 2013, while an appearance at the Glastonbury festival continues to be mooted, with Ronnie Wood especially making no secret of his desire to play the event in June.
