Sir Paul McCartney will embark on a world tour this year, though only two dates have been confirmed so far.

The ‘Out There!‘ tour visits the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland on June 22nd and the Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria on June 27th, and will see the former Beatles legend and his band ‘travelling the world’ during the course of 2013.

“The tour will see Paul and his band travel the world throughout the year, even visiting some places they’ve never been before,” a statement reads. “Further announcements and dates will be added in the coming weeks so stay tuned to PaulMcCartney.com for updates and ticketing details.”

The tour is likely to support a brand new studio album from McCartney, who told BBC 6Music in February he hoped to have recording completed ‘within the next few months’, and revealed he has been working with guests such as Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns, Paul Epworth and Giles Martin – son of the Beatles producer George.
