Everything Everything will be on the road for most of this coming October after unveiling the details of an 11-date UK tour.
The Manchester band released their second album ‘Arc‘ earlier this year, and begin the tour on October 4th at the Newcastle Academy. On October 17th, they are due in Cardiff for a show at the city’s University before moving back across to England for further stops in Birmingham, Norwich, Nottingham and Sheffield. A date at the London Forum on October 24th then closes proceedings.
Everything Everything frontman Jonathan Higgs recently told the BBC the group planned to make ‘Arc’ a more accessible affair than their 2011 debut ‘Man Alive‘, remarking that they, “Didn’t want people to feel it was off-limits because they don’t have a degree,” and adding:
“On the last tour, I would be looking at a sea of confused faces, of people trying to sing along. I’d think ‘this song means everything to me, and you don’t even know what I’m on about’.”
