David Bowie is well on course for the top spot on the UK Album Chart with his comeback album ‘The Next Day‘, according to the latest midweek figures.

Bowie is one place ahead of Bon Jovi‘s new record ‘What About Now?‘ on the midweeks, with Emeli Sande‘s eternally lingering ‘Our Version Of Events‘ currently at no.3.

Further back on the chart, the soundtrack to Dave Grohl‘s Sound City Studios documentary, entitled ‘Reel To Reel‘, is heading for a place inside the Top 20, and Stornoway‘s new effort ‘Tales From Terra Firma‘ is at the moment placed at #20.

The official chart will be confirmed this Sunday (March 17th).
