Blur have announced another clutch of world tour dates for this year, adding to and already busy period of summer festival appearances.

The band set about their first live UK engagements since 2009 last year, culminating in a sold-out show at London’s Hyde Park arranged to commemorate the end of the 2012 Olympic Games.

And despite the four bandmates being initially cagey about any future plans, they have since confirmed various festival bookings for later this year, including Primavera Sound in Spain and Belgium’s Rock Werchter event.

Writing on Twitter this week, Blur have now officially added an appearance at Coachella in April to the itinerary over the festival’s two weekends of April 12th and 19th, and will also play Mexico’s Vive Latino on March 16th, Hong Kong’s Asia World Arena on May 6th and the New Taipei County Stadium on May 9th.

In addition to their Blur shows, Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon will be in London next month to perform a special gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall.
