There’s a British charge at the Coachella Festival this coming April with Blur and The Stone Roses confirmed as headliners for this year’s event.

The two bands will share bill-topping duties on the Friday over the course of two weekends at Empire Polo Grounds in California April 12th and 19th, with Phoenix adopting a sole headline task on the Saturday, while Red Hot Chili Peppers will close the event on April 14th and 21st.

As widely rumoured, The Postal Service have been booked to make an appearance as they emerge out of a decade-long hibernation to celebrate their ‘Give Up‘ album, while the likes of Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, New Order, The xx and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have also confirmed for the festival.
