The RockNess Festival has announced its first participants for this year’s event, with The Maccabees and The Vaccines confirmed on the bill.
The Scottish event is held between June 7th-9th, and has also confirmed Example as the first of three headliners.
“Obviously, you know how much I love Scottish crowds,” Example has told the Daily Record of the booking.
“When ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ came out, I was on the main stage at RockNess before Magnetic Man and Chemical Brothers. That was a big moment for me.”
Along side The Vaccines and The Maccabees, Jessie Ware, Bombay Bicycle Club, Ellie Goulding, Basement Jaxx, Madness, Ben Howard, Camera Obscura and Newton Faulkner are rubber stamped for the event.
”I’m delighted to announce the first names we’re bringing to the party at Loch Ness this summer,” director Jim King remarks. “We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you an eclectic line up of the highest calibre acts for which RockNess is synonymous.”
Weekend camping tickets are available now at a reduced price of £139 plus £13.90 booking fee.
