The Killers have today been confirmed as the final headliners for next year’s Isle Of Wight festival.
The US band joins the previously announced bill-toppers The Stone Roses and Bon Jovi at the event, which will take place between June 13th-16th next year.
“We are proud to bring one of the world’s greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the South Coast of England,” promoter John Giddings has said in a statement. “Thanks for coming – it will be a weekend to remember!”
Since Giddings restarted the historic festival a decade ago, the Isle Of Wight event has once again become one of the most popular on the UK summer schedule, and was headlined this year by the fabled US trio of Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam.
