Blur have posted a live performance from their summer Hyde Park gig on YouTube to promote the forthcoming DVD ‘Parklive‘.
Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree were back together at Hyde Park in August to celebrate the end of the London Olympic Games, when they headlined a bill which also featured The Specials and New Order. To mark the one-off gig, the band released the double A-side single ‘Under The Westway‘ and ‘The Puritan‘ a few weeks prior, and it is the former which can be viewed below.
‘Parklive’ will feature the full gig when it is released as a CD/DVD package on December 3rd, as well as the group’s appearance at the 100 Club and other tracks recorded live at various stages over the summer.
Despite the bandmates painting an uncertain future during the course of 2012, a selection of live dates for next year have already been confirmed for Blur, including a headline appearance at the 2013 Rock Werchter festival.
