The Killers announce rescheduled Manchester dates

The Killers have swiftly confirmed a pair of rescheduled dates in Manchester after the two original gigs were postponed this week when frontman Brandon Flowers lost his voice.

The Las Vegas band’s first night in Manchester last Tuesday (November 13th) was cut short just a few songs into the set when Flowers decided his throat had had enough, leading to a planned appearance the following day also being pulled.

“Manchester, we started something we couldn’t finish and we’re so, so sorry,” they wrote on Facebook. “Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow’s shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP.”

And having quickly stated their intention to return to the North West as soon as possible, The Killers have announced they will be back at the MEN Arena on February 17th and 18th next year.

Tickets purchased for the initial concerts remain valid on the corresponding nights, though standing tickets from the incomplete November 13th show will need to be reissued to fans from their ticketing outlets. Anyone now unable to attend the new dates is eligible for a full refund.
