Morrissey will restart his North American tour on January 9th next year after being forced to abort the original dates when his mother was taken ill.
Morrissey flew back to England to be with his mother last month and initially planned to return in time for a gig in Minneapolis on October 29th, but subsequently postponed all the remaining tour a few days later.
However, the singer has now made good on his promise to reschedule the affected shows, and will be back in the US early next year at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in New York.
Morrissey is now to be joined by Patti Smith at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on March 1st, and will then close the tour in Portland seven days later.
