The Gaslight Anthem were the latest act to take part in a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session recently, when frontman Brian Fallon covered Foo Fighters‘ modern rock classic ‘Everlong‘. The video of the performance can be viewed through YouTube below.
The New Jersey band are busy undertaking promotional work for their fourth studio effort ‘Handwritten‘. Released in July this year, and despite receiving only a mixed response from critics, the album has proved to be the biggest commercial success of their career to date – entering in the Top 3 of both the British and US charts. In addition, it topped the UK Record Store Chart.
The group recently completed a short run of UK headline dates which took in gigs at the London Brixton Academy, Manchester Apollo, Glasgow Academy and Birmingham Academy.
