The Killers have unveiled plans to play two Irish arena dates in early 2013 as they prepare to begin a similar tour of the UK later this month.
The Las Vegas band are returning to live duties in support of their fourth studio album ‘Battle Born‘, and will open up a lengthy UK tour at the Glasgow SECC on October 27th, later visiting cities such as Birmingham, Cardiff and Liverpool before a final, two-date stop at the O2 Arena in London.
And now details of gigs at the Belfast Odyssey Arena on February 21st and Dublin O2 a day later have been confirmed as their touring commitments run into the new year.
Released last month, ‘Battle Born’ marks not just a return from a prolonged hiatus for The Killers, but also a return to the more guitar-driven, homeland focused material of their early years. It topped the charts in the UK, and has to-date peaked at #3 in the US.
