Reformed Canadian band Godspeed You Black Emperor have jumped to the top of the UK Record Store Album Chart this week with their ‘Allelujah Don’t Bend Ascend‘ LP.

Jake Bugg is at second place after topping the main rundown yesterday, while The Jim Jones Revue have debuted at #15 with ‘The Savage Heart‘.

Elsewhere, Bat For Lashes and Bellowhead both enter inside the Top 10 on the chart which is compiled entirely from sales registered at the UK’s independent record shops.
