Feeder will take to the road in the UK next month for a five-date tour.

Opening up on November 17th at the Glasgow Academy, the tour subsequently has four English gigs booked for the Manchester Academy (November 18th), Portsmouth Guildhall (20th), the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton (21st) and finally the Brixton Academy on November 23rd.

The trip will continue Feeder’s promotional duties for their 2012 album ‘Generation Freakshow’, described as a ‘wistful catalogue of rock songs that show Feeder to be more than deserving of their place at the top table of UK Brit rock’ in Live4ever’s review.

“The album opens with ‘Oh My‘, a swishing pop-rock number you can see becoming a summer hit on radio playlists, with its 90s licks and catchy chorus, while ‘Borders‘ is equally refreshing, riding a backwash of feel-good guitars and “blinded  by the sun” sentiments,” the article continues.

“The “Woo-ooh-ooh” backing vocals are also so damn syrupy and sweet, you can’t help but want to dance, which is a quality Feeder have never quite lost, despite the band losing some steam (and fans) during the ‘Silent Cry‘ era.”
