Axl Rose took part in his first TV interview for twenty years last night (October 24th) when appearing on the US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! ahead of the start of Guns N Roses‘ lengthy Las Vegas residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Rose looked initially tentative as the interview got underway, but soon warmed up nicely and ended the chat by handing out tickets for his band’s Vegas residency to the audience.
Guns N Roses will begin their near-month long stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on October 31st, with subsequent performances booked right through to November 24th.
Axl Rose’s infamous time-keeping issues – which were highlighted by Kimmel when he displayed an Oscar Wilde quote which states, ‘Punctuality is the thief of time’ – were in action once again last week as the band turned up late for Neil Young‘s annual Bridge School benefit gig.
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder filled in for the band before their late arrival, playing a short, impromptu set for the crowd.
