We Are Augustines will launch their latest round of UK headline dates next week.
As previously reported on Live4ever, the Brooklyn-based band will begin the tour at the Bristol Thekla on September 30th, and will later visit the Manchester HMV Ritz and Leeds Cockpit on October 3rd and 4th respectively.
“It’s important to us that our shows are very celebratory and that the audience feels like they’re part of what we’re doing—that we’re all in this room together, creating a memory,” bass player Eric Sanderson has said of their live performances.
“We want people to have a cathartic experience—but still dance all night long, and walk away smiling.”
We Are Augustines released the double A-side single ‘Book Of James/Philadelphia‘ earlier this month, both a perfect window onto their stunning debut album ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships‘.
