Video: Muse premiere ‘Madness’ promo

Muse have unveiled the official video for their excellent new single ‘Madness‘.

The Anthony Mandler-directed promo is available to watch via YouTube below, and features the rock trio presenting a typically sultry performance on the Los Angeles Metro underground.

‘Madness’ is the latest track to be taken from the band’s forthcoming ‘The 2nd Law‘ album, which will now hit the shelves early next month after the initial release date was delayed – in all likelihood to avoid a hectic September schedule which has already seen The Vaccines issue their own new record, while LPs from the likes of Mumford & Sons, Bob Dylan and The xx are also due in the coming weeks.

Muse will showcase ‘The 2nd Law’ on a large tour of UK arenas in October, which begins at the Glasgow SECC on the 24th, and are also due to close September’s month-long iTunes festival with a bill-topping show on the 30th.

The London Roundhouse event is being headlined tonight (September 5th) by chart star Emeli Sande.
