The xx beat Bob Dylan to top UK Album Chart


The xx have topped the UK Album Chart this week with their second LP ‘Coexist‘, the follow-up to the Mercury Prize winning self-titled debut.

The band have beaten Bob Dylan and The Script to the summit, with the former’s new LP ‘Tempest‘ landing at #3.

Elsewhere, Coldplay have seen their ‘Mylo Xyloto‘ album jump to #4 after a high profile performance at the London Paralympic Games’ closing ceremony last weekend, and both The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club have held on to Top 10 spots.
