The Kinks, Iggy Pop pay tribute to The Who on new album

A special tribute album due for release early next month will see the likes of The Kinks, Iggy Pop and The Raveonettes paying their respects to legendary rock band The Who.

Who You Are‘ includes a host of musicians offering up their versions of 16 Who classics, and will be released on October 2nd. Amongst the many guest appearances are Dave Davies of The Kinks, VibratorsKnox and Rat Scabies of The Damned covering ‘My Generation‘. In addition, Iggy Pop is to rework ‘I Can’t Explain‘, while The Raveonettes will present their take of ‘The Kids Are Alright.
