The original line-up of John Power, Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson, Pete Wilkinson and Keith O’Neill reconvened late last year to record new material with their long-term producer John Leckie. ‘Troubled Times‘, their first studio album since 2001’s ‘Beetroot‘, was later released in February this year. A short time after, the band embarked on a headline tour of the UK.
“Getting back with the band and working with John Leckie again after all these years apart was just how I envisioned it when I started writing the songs for this album,” Power said of their reformation and new record. “Then it was all about putting into words what it was I was feeling, about all the things I was seeing all around me and troubled times is what we found.”
