The Enemy will play a free London show this week at London’s Hyde Park as the venue continues to play host to a series of gigs during the London Olympics.

The Coventry band revealed the news to fans today (August 6th) with a message that reads:

“A few of you have been asking when we’re playing London again. Well, we’re playing THIS THURSDAY – FOR FREE. It’s a totally free gig in Hyde Park, on stage at 10pm. No need to sign up, register, print anything off… none of that nonsense… just turn up and go nuts.”

“Team GB are smashing it this week, third in the Olympics leaderboard, and to show our support we’re playing a free gig with for BT London Live. You can watch some of the days action on the big screen, then catch live tracks from us lot. How’s that for a Thursday evening!?!?”

The Enemy are also due to embark on their own headline tour of the UK later this year, beginning at the Oxford Academy on October 2nd, while twin appearances at V festival on August 18th and 19th are also booked.
