Noel Gallagher has again thrown the likelihood of his collaborative album with the psychedelic duo Amorphous Androgynous ever getting a full release into doubt after stating his belief that ‘the moment may have passed’ for the record.

A second glimpse of the intriguing hook-up was recently unveiled as part of Gallagher’s latest solo single ‘Everybody’s On The Run‘; whose b-side was another stretched out re-working of a track taken from the debut solo album ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ – on this occasion ‘AKA…What a Life!‘.

However, after previously admitting the album ‘may never see the light of day‘ back in April, Gallagher has again said delays with mixing, and the success of his first solo record, may mean the intended follow-up is put to bed for good.

“It was supposed to be delivered the night I did that press conference and I hadn’t been involved in any of the mixing at that point due to being busy with other things,” Gallagher is quoted as saying in today’s Sun newspaper.

“Anyway, it was a toss-up whether to announce it in the first place, but I just thought fuck it, I’ve done it, let’s announce it.”

“But since then I’ve been on the road and because of that I’ve not been in the mixing, and I’m not happy with any of the mixes.”

“They’re going backward and forward so then the plan was to get mixing done after the tour, but this tour has gone on so long that there’s been no time, and that means looking at it next year.”

“But by then I fear the moment may have passed.”
