Kaiser Chiefs have unveiled details of a UK tour which will carry them through most of February next year.
The trek begins at Carlisle’s Sands Centre on February 11th, and will visit cites including Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Wolverhampton as it progresses throughout the month. A final date will arrive on the 1st of March at London’s Brixton Academy.
Kaiser Chiefs released the career retrospective ‘Souvenir‘ earlier this year, an album which the Leeds band have insisted does not mark the end of their career.
“It’s a singles collection, it’s similar but different,” bassist Simon Rix told BBC Breakfast back in June. “It’s not a ‘Greatest Hits’, it’s not the end.”
“It’s always great to reminisce, nostalgia is fun,” frontman Ricky Wilson added. “It’s really good looking back. We’ve had loads of big singles.”
