The Lightning Seeds and Little Comets are among over 100 acts confirmed today for the 2012 Kendal Calling event.

This year’s Kendal Calling will be held over the weekend of July 27th-29th at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District, and is set to be headlined by James, Dizzee Rascal and Maximo Park. Also added to the line-up are the likes of Sound Of Guns, Little Barrie and Islet.

Kendal Calling was launched in 2006, when it was originally held at Abbot Hall Park. In 2008, the festival upgraded to a three-day event, and moved to its current home a year later.
