Blink-182 have been forced to cancel tonight’s scheduled show at the Brixton Academy in London due to an illness being suffered by Mark Hoppus.

The show was set to be a part of a two night stop in Brixton, but with singer and bass player Hoppus being diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis, the band will not be back for the second gig tonight (July 26th) and have no plans to re-schedule the concert.

“It is with regret that tonight’s Blink 182 show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton has been cancelled,” a statement released by the band reads. “Unfortunately Mark Hoppus was taken ill at the end of last night’s show and has been diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.”

“This is the last thing the band want to do but on doctors advice today it has been highly advised that Mark cannot perform and the show can’t go ahead. Regrettably a rescheduled date cannot not be arranged and customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for a refund.”
