Demos of two new Pete Doherty tracks already tentatively pencilled in for his second solo album have been posted online by the former Libertines man’s producer Adem Hilmi.

Writing on his blog yesterday (June 22nd), Hilmi unveiled the tracks ‘Siberian Fur‘ and ‘Down For The Outing‘, explaining the latter has:

“Lots more to add to it – bass, lead guitar, accordion. Not figured out an ending yet but the vibe is there I think. Should sound a lot more live and dynamic when re recorded with a band.”

Pete Doherty has previously revealed his new solo LP will feature lyrics written by Amy Winehouse before her death last year on the track ‘Bird Cage‘, which is set to be a duet with singer Suzi Martin.

“I’ve got a hard drive full of new songs and a few of them have taken more of a definite shape,” Doherty told NME last month of the progress of the album. “Things that were ad libs and off the cuff, we’re putting more into traditional song structure.”

The album will be Doherty’s follow-up to the 2009 debut solo effort ‘Grace/Wastelands‘.
