Pure Love have announced six low-key UK gigs for this coming July.

The band, which comprises Jim Carroll and former Gallows frontman Frank Carter, will follow two recent headline shows in London with the opening show of the tour on July 18th at the Birmingham Glee Club.

Two gigs in Wales are also due – at Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on July 23rd and the Wrexham Central Station on July 24th – before a final date at the York Duchess on July 25th.

The tour dates will coincide with the release of Pure Love’s first official single, ‘Handsome Devils’ Club‘, on the day of their Cardiff gig.

Frank Carter confirmed his departure from Gallows last summer, saying in a statement that: “It seems that Gallows have hit a crossroads in our writing process and unfortunately myself and the rest of the boys have different ideas regarding the sound of Gallows going forward. Gallows have decided they are going to continue on without me and I wish the boys the best of luck for the future.”

In his absence, Gallows appointed Wade MacNeil as their frontman and have a new album pencilled in for September.
