Mick Jones and his band Justice Tonight have been confirmed as the headliner for the final night of this year’s Strummer Of Love festival, which arrives a few months short of the tenth of anniversary of Joe Strummer‘s untimely death in 2002.

In being announced for the event, Jones has paid tribute to his late Clash bandmate, stating that: “Joe is with me all the time. I can feel him in so many ways. It’s something that’s with me a lot of the time.”

Seasick Steve will top the bill on the Friday night (August 17th), with Justice Tonight following on August 19th. The event, which is run aid of Strummerville, the Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music, will take place at a secret Somerset venue.

This year’s bill also includes the likes of The Pogues, Badly Drawn Boy, Reverend and The Makers, and The Jim Jones Revue.
