Biffy Clyro will not now name their forthcoming double album ‘The Land At The End Of Our Toes‘ and ‘The Sand At The Core Of Our Bones‘, according to NME.

The Scottish trio made their album titles public last month, but NME now claims the band have changed their minds, though any new banners for the record, expected to be released later this year, have not yet been revealed.

The double album is the follow-up to Biffy Clyro’s 2009 commercial breakthrough ‘Only Revolutions‘, which went on to receive a Mercury Music Prize nomination later that year. New tracks were previewed at the Download festival last weekend, as well as an intimate warm-up show in Swindon a few days earlier.

Speaking to NME recently, drummer Ben Johnston said the group are hoping to ‘win back lost fans’ with their sixth studio effort, remarking: “When you’re younger you want bands to be just your band. When these bands get more well-known and bigger it’s common to just fade away from them. It’s sad because we don’t want to lose any fans. Hopefully we can get those lost fans back with this album.”
