Spector have today released the full details of their debut album, which will be released this summer.
‘Enjoy It While It Lasts‘ will be released on August 13th, and is set to comprise 12 tracks including the recent singles ‘Chevy Thunder‘ and ‘Celestine‘. “Pop music is the perfect medium for turning pain into entertainment,” frontman Fred MacPherson has said.
“As this dawned on me over the last year, our album evolved into the most exhilarating outlet for the bi-products of romance, heartbreak, nostalgia and social monotony. It took five band members, six months and seven producers to make this record, and I’ve never taken anything more seriously in my whole life.”
The album will be supported with a series of festival appearances this summer, including spots at Isle Of Wight, Reading/Leeds and Field Day.

2012 was supposed to be the return of indie rock…where are we at? Can we all proclame the death of indie in 2012? Has indie ever even existed? What is actually Indie?
Are bands like Spector the flag of the British indie rock nowadays or is another over hyped blog band?
