Kinks legend Ray Davies has unveiled plans for a 14-date UK tour beginning in Canterbury later this year.
The tour will kick off at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre on September 30th, with the first show in October following a day later at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. A date at London’s Royal Albert Hall is due on October 4th, while a sole Scottish gig will arrive at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on October 12th. The tour will be wrapped up on October 18th at the Bath Forum.
A new CD/DVD compilation entitled ‘The Kinks At The BBC‘ is due for release shortly before the tour begins on August 13th. The package has been designed in the style of a Radio Times magazine.
