PJ Harvey, Adele triumph at 2012 Ivor Novello Awards

Adele and PJ Harvey took home two of the major honours at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards, which were held today (May 17th) at London’s Grosvenor House.

Adele’s stunning rise to superstardom over the past twelve months was recognised with the Songwriter Of The Year gong, while PJ Harvey won yet another accolade for her 2011 record ‘Let England Shake‘, which took home the Album Of The Year prize.

Elsewhere, Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ also won the PRS for Music Most Performed Work, while Lana Del Rey won Best Contemporary Song for her breakthrough single ‘Video Games‘.
